VE Testing

The Mon County Amateur Radio Club now offers VE Testing for Tech, Gen and Extra.

We meet at the American Legion (Bingo Hall) in Dellslow, on Earl Core Rd., the third Saturday of each month. The meeting starts at 9:00 AM.

VE Testing will be held at 10:30am, immediately following the club meetings in the private meeting room.

Walk-ins are ok but an advance email, call or text will help us make sure we have sufficient materials available for all.

In the event that a session has to be cancelled it will be announced on the Wednesday 2m and Thursday 70cm nets.

Testing Fees

• $14.00

Prerequisites:

A FRN is required prior to taking your test. Please visit the FCC License Registration site in order to gain your FRN number through the FCC. This number is required in order to get your Callsign. ***SSAN is no longer accepted.

What to bring:

1. FRN Number
2. A calculator. Cell phone calculator apps are not allowed.
3. Photo ID
